<p style="background:white"><span style="font-family:"Candara","sans-serif";color:black">OCLC has the infrastructure to harvest the metadata from OAI repositories via DCG now. And, if we know what your application profile is, we could tailor a mapping for you
to get the records in WorldCat. That's minimal development effort for us.</span><o:p></o:p></p>

<p style="background:white"><span style="font-family:"Candara","sans-serif";color:black">We could then do some further development work (in kind or minimally funded) to post-process your metadata into the approved DPLA profile for final "delivery" to DPLA.
We are doing post-processing of WorldCat records now to generate linked data, for example -- this isn't dis-similiar to that work</span><o:p></o:p></p>

<p style="background:white"><span style="font-family:"Candara","sans-serif";color:black">That said, I think there are two ways to look at this from your point of view as you work to get grant money for planning. You could commit to working with OCLC and developing
the technical solution with us from the outset as part of the technical planning bit of this first phase. We could create a prototype, work together, blah blah blah... Or you could look at a variety of technical partners and then decide which might work better
for you. I see strengths and weaknesses in both ways.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
