And unfortunately, because this is active development work – there really isn’t support from the Penn folks. So, I’m poking at the error logs to see if I can figure out why the tool is failing, but I can walk folks threw how this should be working – and you
can see what data is being captured and stored (though only one record of it).

6-8 months of work by a developer. I know that the NY folks were thinking the same thing I have been, so they may start this work earlier than we do – but this would be technical debt.

Tom and I talked today and developed a draft agenda and a memo regarding the draft reports, including a proposed revised timeline. We would like to suggest that since the February call will focus on the draft reports we may need to schedule
2 calls to cover the reports. Since the metadata group won’t likely have their report til just before the 2/26 meeting we’re thinking that maybe one call might be mid-month, while the second call would be the 4th Friday in February. This would
allow three reports to be reviewed at each meeting plus we can cover some other stuff.

We also think it might be useful for the working group chairs to have the DPLA application profile, so we’d post that on Google Drive and email it with the agenda. I tried to find it today on the DPLA website and it wasn’t where I found
it before, so maybe they’re making some changes. I sent an email to the general DPLA email address and we’ll see what they say. I do have a copy in my files for our use.
