She has previously worked in academic, museum, corporate, and private archives. She has spoken about Disability, Accessibility and Inclusion for most of her career and works to support others who speak on the topic. Michelle has been a mentor for over fifteen
years working to help first generation graduates, BIPOC, disabled, and queer people navigate the professional world. She is also the editor of the forthcoming Bloomsbury book
