The Ohio Historical Society is seeking a full-time cataloger in its Collections, Historic Preservation, and Statewide Outreach Division.  
This position catalogs museum and special collections into the Society's online collection catalog.   Examples of responsibilities include:
	*	Creating original catalog records for special collections material and three-dimensional objects in the online collection catalog and OCLC. 
	*	Adding item, copy, and summary of holding records to the online collection catalog. 
	*	Revising, updating, and merging authority records in the online collection catalog. 
Applicants should possess a thorough knowledge of MARC formats, working knowledge of online public access catalogs, and skills in Microsoft Suite, databases and automated catalogs. The position requires a Master's degree in library and information science or a related field. Experience with museum, library or archival collections and demonstrated knowledge of cataloging and vocabulary standards is desired.
