[SOA] OhioDIG 11/9, Moving Image Digitization for the Small Shop

A reminder to RSVP by Monday, November 5 for the next quarterly meeting of 
OhioDIG (http://www.ohiodig.org/), the Ohio digitization interest group for 
archivists, librarians, and allied professionals. All are welcome to attend!

Date: Friday, November 9, 2007, 11:15 am-1 pm.

Program: "Moving Image Digitization for the Small Shop"

Speakers: Matt & Nikki Swift, of NicoletteCinemgraphics 
(http://www.nicolettecinemagraphics.com/); MLIS expected 12/07, from Kent 
State University School of Library and Information Science.

RSVP: carleton at ohio.edu, by Monday, November 5.

Host: Angela O'Neal, Ohio Historical Society.

Lunch: Brown bag. Beverages will be provided.

Site: Ohio Historical Center, Classroom 1&2, 1982 Velma Ave, Columbus, 
Ohio. It's located just off of I-71 on 17th Ave (exit 111) about 4 miles 
north of downtown Columbus. Classroom 1&2 are on the ground level just 
beyond the gift shop. Parking tokens (needed to exit the parking lot) will 
be available to attendees.

OhioDIG (http://www.ohiodig.org/), the Ohio digitization interest group for 
archivists, librarians, and allied professionals, meets quarterly in the 
central Ohio area for presentations and networking.

Meetings, 11:15 AM - 1 PM, consist of a 45-minute presentation, followed by 
a "brown bag" lunch with all-attendee updates and networking. There is no 
membership fee and no charge to attend meetings. All are welcome!

Upcoming meetings are announced (and RSVP's requested) through the OhioDIG 
Listerv. For more information on a specific meeting, contact that meeting's 
host.
