SOA Members,
See Megan's note below regarding Ohio History Day topics. If you have
any ideas or particular collections that would fit this year's theme,
please send Megan a note so that she can highlight them in her
discussions with students.

Subject: The Individual in History

Good Morning,

This year's National History Day theme is "The Individual in History:
Actions and Legacies." Students will be asked to create projects that
show the impact of one or several individuals on a historic event, or
the impact of their legacy on history. We are compiling a list of Ohio
related topics to help students and teachers to see what local
connections they can make to the theme outside of the "usual suspects."
If you have any ideas for unique Ohio individuals, please let me know.
I hope to have this list compiled by Friday.

Thanks,
Megan
