[SOA] Archives Month Poster Themes

I think Science would be really great - schools are more and more
adopting the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
curriculum, as are other educational websites and supplementary
programs, and this would be an excellent tie-in as well as capture some
of the more obscure collections that are lurking out there and really
potentially bring out some real heroes in our state (we've done a lot in
Ohio - Benadryl is an Ohio product developed by an Engineer, as an
example) - you could even talk about war and science, as medical science
gets some big boosts anytime that war is upon us.

My two cents.

Subject: [SOA] Archives Month Poster Themes

Hello,

The Archives Month poster committee has been discussing potential themes
for this years poster. Two themes that have been suggested are:

*	Music
*	Science

These are broad themes, many different types of archives have
collections that support them, and we are not aware that we have done
them before. Please let us know by Monday, August 1 what your
preference is. I will let you know when the theme is decided and then
we will begin accepting images. We hope to have images from a group of
representative institutions.

Thank You,

The Poster Committee
