Add if you have space, keeping a copy that could be used for future digitization is nice too. Sometimes the well-used copies are best for this.

Every institution I have worked for tends to keep 2 of the best condition copies they have, and dispose of or donate other copies to other institutions.  However, retaining a few additional copies for demonstrations or exhibits outside the archives isn't a bad idea.
