Theme: "Update on the DPLA"
Speakers:
 - Shannon Kupfer, digital & tangible media cataloger, State Library of Ohio
 - Katy Klettlinger, library consultant, State Library of Ohio
- Jillian Carney, manager of digital services, Ohio History Connection

Synopsis: After years of planning, the Digital Public Library of America was launched in April 2013 and, in the past two years, has grown to become a major force in the effort to provide access to cultural heritage materials in digital formats. DPLA Community Reps Jillian, Katy, and Shannon will talk to you about what the DPLA is and how it works, and then we'll have a follow-up discussion on Ohio's future participation in DPLA. http://dp.la/

- Hosts: Jillian Carney & Jenni Salamon, Ohio History Connection
- Food: Coffee & cookies will be offered at the start of the meeting. Lunch will be brown bag.
- Cost: There is no fee for attending, but we will be accepting donations for the coffee kitty.

- 10:30-11:30 presentation and discussion on topic;

	- featured update: Ohio IR Day
- 1:15- optional: small group discussions (user groups, birds of a feather);
- 1:15-1:30 optional:  tour of OHC archives/library stacks (limited to 15 people);
- 1:35-1:50 optional:  tour of OHC archives/library stacks (limited to 15 people);
- 1:55-2:10 optional:  tour of OHC archives/library stacks (limited to 15 people);

(Note: Tours do not include the digitization lab.
OHC is in the process of updating its digitization lab, so while they'd love to show people around, it would be much more exciting for that to happen after they've gotten their new equipment and finished redesigning the space. Plan on a "part 2" to the behind-the-scenes tour at a future OhioDIG meeting.)
