[SOA] SAA workshop "Planning New and Remodeled Archival Facilities" scheduled for March 6 and 7

Dear SOA Members,

The City Clerk's Office of the City of Pittsburgh is pleased to host SAA's two-day workshop, "Planning New and Remodeled Archival Facilities", on March 6 and 7, 2017.

The workshop will be taught by Thomas Wilsted, author of Managing Archives and Manuscripts Repositories<http://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=mdp.39015025155410;view=1up;seq=5> (SAA, 1992) and Planning New and Remodeled Archival Facilities<http://saa.archivists.org/store/planning-new-and-remodeled-archival-facilities/187/> (SAA, 2007); and co-editor of Archival and Special Collections Facilities: Guidelines for Archivists, Librarians, Architects and Engineers<http://saa.archivists.org/store/archival-and-special-collections-facilities-guidelines/1355/> (SAA, 2009). The workshop will include a tour of the Heinz History Center's recently renovated archival storage areas.
