Interested in Hosting an NEDCC Preservation Workshop?         

NEDCC is now booking on-site Preservation Workshops in your region for fall and winter 2018-19.        

Based in the midwest, Preservation Specialist Danielle Spalenka is available to present half-day, full-day, and multi-day in-person workshops at your institution or a nearby venue. Onsite workshops can include interactive, hands-on activities or topics that require in-depth exploration and discussion of specific content areas.            

Hosted by local organizations which provide venue space and help promote the in-person training, NEDCC Preservation Workshops topics may include:         
- audiovisual preservation and reformatting     
- caring for paper-based collections and photographs    
- disaster planning and response    
- digital preservation concepts and tools    
- caring for collections during a move or renovations    
- risk assessment    
- caring for scrapbooks and family collections    

NEDCC can also create customized webinars for your organization, members, or region on a wide variety of preservation topics.
