The registration deadline is quickly approaching for the Ohio Library Council's 2018 Technical Services Retreat, scheduled for March 28-29 at the Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center in North Columbus.  The last day to register is Wednesday, March 21.  Join your colleagues for this two-day educational event that strikes the perfect balance between the big picture and focused, practical topics.

Eboni  Johnson, Outreach & Programming Librarian with Oberlin College Library, will kick off the retreat with a talk about her recent experience on a research project in the Africatown area of Mobile, Alabama.  Other topics include eclectic collections, project management, ILS acquisitions modules, local heritage collections, ethical considerations, and more.  The retreat will close with keynote Terry Reese, Head of Digital Initiatives with the Ohio State University Libraries.
