House Approves FY 20 Funding Bills That Include Increases for History-Related Programs
The House of Representatives has nearly finished passing FY 20 appropriations bills that reject across-the-board the president’s draconian budget requests. The House has passed ten of twelve FY 20 appropriations bills. As a result, we have the final House numbers for agencies and programs that affect history, archives, humanities and education. A chart showing the House numbers in comparison to the Trump request and FY 19 funding levels can be accessed by clicking this link.<https://nam03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fhistorycoalition.us10.list-manage.com%2Ftrack%2Fclick%3Fu%3D08692bfb14b4b62cef6bb2878%26id%3Ded6aceb747%26e%3D994dc209a0&data=02%7C01%7Ccarleton%40ohio.edu%7Cf4131a1a94904f0bf38308d6ff283c96%7Cf3308007477c4a70888934611817c55a%7C0%7C0%7C636976945615931760&sdata=MO6g7Vi5QWd3wXCH%2FNgbT6%2BLz6laBuesAbRGEvsKhGc%3D&reserved=0> Read more>><https://nam03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fhistorycoalition.us10.list-manage.com%2Ftrack%2Fclick%3Fu%3D08692bfb14b4b62cef6bb2878%26id%3D7d131bc6ff%26e%3D994dc209a0&data=02%7C01%7Ccarleton%40ohio.edu%7Cf4131a1a94904f0bf38308d6ff283c96%7Cf3308007477c4a70888934611817c55a%7C0%7C0%7C636976945615931760&sdata=Y1O%2BVVB%2F%2BzH4e%2By7WJPpFcCoLr4%2F5VRqG0cRL83xTXA%3D&reserved=0>
