<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Times New Roman">The Cleveland Archival Roundtable is sponsoring an SOA Archives 101 workshop for beginners at Cleveland State University on Saturday, October 1, from 10 AM to 4 PM.  This is an introduction to archives for people who lack archival experience but who find themselves responsible for the records of their club, church, or other organization.  It will provide basic information and skills needed to collect, appraise, process, describe and service their records.  It will be taught by Anna Heran (University of Cincinnati) from the Society of Ohio Archivists.  Cost is $30 and the deadline for registration is Friday, September 23.  For information contact CAR Steering Committee member Fred Lautzenheiser at lautzef@ccf.org or telephone 216/444-2929.</FONT></P>
