Ohio Wesleyan University seeks an energetic, creative, and
service-oriented librarian for a temporary assignment as a digital
librarian. An initial project will be the <b>digitization of
material related to Branch Rickey</b> and his connection to Ohio Wesleyan
University. This is a five month appointment that reports to the
Head of Public Services.<br>

<b>Requirements<br>
</b>Bachelor’s degree <br>
Knowledge of copyright, intellectual access and digital rights management
issues <br>
Demonstrated strategic planning and project management skills <br>
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a challenging
and complex environment <br>
Excellent written and oral communication skills <br>
<br>
<b>Preferred Qualifications<br>
</b>Graduate degree in library science from an ALA accredited institution
<br>
Knowledge of cataloging, metadata and <b>archival</b> storage standards
<br>
Experience with digitization projects/initiatives <br>
Experience in planning and implementing library digitization projects
<br>
Familiarity with digital asset management systems such as CONTENTdm <br>
Familiarity with web development tools such as Dreamweaver <br>
