for Local Governments”</span></font></b> will be held on March 21<sup>st</sup>
from 10AM-3PM at the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Ohio</st1:PlaceName>
<st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Historical</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Center</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>.
This workshop is an introductory course aimed at local governments on county,
municipal, and township levels, as well as, schools, libraries, and special
districts. Although this is a local government based workshop, students
and archivists who are interested in government archives would benefit from
this event.<o:p></o:p></p>

including the procedures for creating records retention schedules and filing
certificates of disposal with the State Archives. Activities will be used
to reinforce the lessons presented. <o:p></o:p></p>
