<b>General Programmer/Analyst I<br><br>
</b>Job Description: Ohio University Libraries is accepting applications
for a General Programmer/Analyst to create web automation, custom user
interfaces, and applications/enhancements to streamline workflows and
support library needs. Responsibilities include: analyzing requirements;
determining appropriate methodology; and providing assistance and
training to end users. We seek a candidate with a commitment in working
effectively with students, faculty and staff from diverse
backgrounds.<br><br>
Minimum Qualifications: Associate Degree in Computer Science, MIS,
Engineering or related field and at least one year of programming
experience. Experience with active WEB page programming and relational
database development required. Knowledge of and experience with the
following required: C++, PHP, ASP, Java, SQL programming. Knowledge of
and experience working with computer hardware and software; Windows and
Linux operating systems essential. In lieu of an Associate Degree,
consideration will be given to candidates who have a combination of
education in a computer related field and at least two years of
programming experience.<br><br>
Salary and benefits: Minimum $39,000, negotiable depending on
experience. Benefits include excellent medical and dental coverage,
