College Archivist.  The incumbent administers the operations and=20
services of an outstanding archival program serving a highly selective=20
liberal arts college with an institutional history of national and=20
international significance. =20

*Required qualifications:*  Advanced degree in American history or=20
related field (e.g., African-American studies, American studies, gender=20
and women's studies, educational history); formal archival training;=20
minimum of three years professional archival experience, preferably in a=20
college or university environment; working knowledge of advanced=20
archival description, archival digitization processes and computer=20
applications as well as archival standards and best practices in records=20
management, preservation, and micrographics; strong user service=20
orientation and successful public service experience; excellent=20
supervisory ability; superior interpersonal and communication skills;=20
ability to work collaboratively with various campus units and diverse=20
community constituencies; evidence of initiative, creativity, and=20
leadership in past activities.
