This new grant category supplants the previous Basic Projects and Detailed Processing programs. <o:p></o:p></span></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:10.0pt;margin-left:0in'><span class=apple-style-span><span style='font-size:13.5pt;color:black'>In brief, the Commission developed this category to offer institutions flexibility as they designed programs to promote the preservation and use of the nation’s most valuable archival resources.
