the <a href="http://www.uakron.edu/chp">Center for the History of Psychology</a>
will provide tips for handling photographs, letters, postcards, family
heirlooms, books, diaries, home movies and other personal treasures. Hands-on
preservation opportunities will also be available.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Librarians from the <a href="http://sc.akronlibrary.org/">Special Collections Division of the
Akron-Summit County Public Library</a> will demonstrate genealogy databases
that are accessible through the library and provide information about the
library’s resources and services available to family history researchers. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Staff from <a href="http://www.uakron.edu/libraries/archives/">The University of Akron
Archival Services</a>, a division of University Libraries, will talk about
their resources, which focus on the history of the university and the region
with a special collecting focus on the history of the rubber industry, lighter-than-air
flight, Ohio canals, and the B-26 Marauder and 9<sup>th</sup> Air Force.
Archival Services holds genealogical resources, including local
government records. </span></p>
