The NEH awarded 232 grants totaling $22.8 million in funding.The NPS awarded $46,925,000 in funding for preservation projects in the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories. The GAO found numerous critical weaknesses and made 31 recommendations including the expedited hiring of a permanent Chief Information Officer.
