Did you know that some content published after 1922 might be in the public domain? Understanding how copyright applies to your collections is a key step in creating digitization, exhibit or other public access projects. Attend this session to learn more about
how copyright laws apply to materials published between 1923 and 1963 (and even more recently). You will also learn how to use U.S. Copyright Office resources to research the copyright status of works from this time period and how you might be able to move
your public access projects beyond 1922.<o:p></o:p></p>

Wire as a recording medium has been abandoned, and the recordings made using the technology are not easily accessed. This presentation will discuss how staff from the Cummings Center for the History of Psychology at the University of Akron revealed voices and
songs of holocaust survivors using a redesigned wire recorder.<o:p></o:p></p>
