<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Calibri, Helvetica, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Jeanne Kisacky is a writer and architectural historian whose research focuses on the interaction of design and health. She has studied architectural design as well
as architectural history and taught classes at Cornell, Syracuse, and Binghamton Universities. Her publications have focused on the history of hospital design up to World War II.</span></p>

element–influenced by urban context, nursing strategies and patient communities as well as by theories of disease and ever-changing medical practice.</span></p>
