Description: According to the CDC, one in four adults in the United States has some form of disability. Yet individuals with disabilities are often left out at the table where decisions are regularly made that impact individuals with disabilities. This presentation
is designed to educate organizations on disability awareness, on communicating and interacting with people with disabilities, and on providing access and accommodations at meetings.

Join Laura Gold from Independent Living to learn ways to incorporate inclusion and accessibility on nonprofit boards, committees, and coalitions to ensure that individuals with disabilities are heard. Bring your questions to this essential presentation!
