<p>Believe it or not, the nation’s 250th anniversary will be here in 2026. Ohio and every state in the nation is preparing to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime celebration of the longest-surviving experiment in democracy.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p>I have the honor of serving as the executive director of a new state commission that is starting to make plans for Ohio’s participation. The

Ohio Commission for the U.S. Semiquincentennial</a> was established this spring and we are now introducing ourselves to Ohioans and Ohio organizations. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p>We are referring to the work of the Commission as America 250-Ohio. We want the nation’s 250th anniversary to be big, loud, colorful and inclusive. We can’t do that alone. We need you and other community leaders to participate –
