<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">As the chair of SOA’s Advocacy and Outreach committee, I wanted to do a little social media fun to get the word out about what archives are and what they do. I challenge you all to take to Facebook or Twitter,
if you have it and say what #ArchivesAre to you. You might say that #ArchivesAre saving your local history or #ArchivesAre helping tell everyone’s story. It is up to you. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">Once you have your idea write your sentence on a piece of paper or use a printer if you would rather do that. Then you can get a photo of you with the paper with the statement. Now you go to your social media
of choice and make your post. Be sure to use your hashtags. I hope MVAR members can get this going and maybe have it spread to get the word out about archives. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
