<p class="MsoNormal" style="background:white"><span style="color:#202124">As cultural heritage institutions digitize more and more historical, fragile and unique items, how do we keep up with making room not just in our physical spaces but also our digital
spaces? It’s important for cultural heritage institutions to be mindful of the digital storage policies (or lack of) they create and practice. Do you know whether the current way your institution stores digital files will work long-term? What types of files
at your institution are receiving proper preservation actions, if any? This program will cover the digital storage preservation standards some of our members are applying to their long-term plans for preservation. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="background:white"><span style="color:#202124"> Michelle Ganz, Director of Archives, The Dominican Sisters of Peace Archives. Ganz hired 2 professional archivists in April 2022 and immediately began to assess and address digital storage
needs. The Dominican Sisters of Peace are now in the process of installing solutions and therefore, bring a very current perspective on the issue of digital storage.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="background:white"><b><span style="color:#202124">- DVDs and the Test of Time: Transferring Master Scans From Removable Media</span></b><span style="color:#202124"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="background:white"><span style="color:#202124">Susan Hernandez, Digital Archivist and Systems Librarian, Cleveland Museum of Art. Hernandez will discuss transferring master scans off the DVDs where they were stored since 2008 and
share data on the number of images that were lost due to degradation and other issues in the ensuing 14 years. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

of MetaArchive--formed in 2004 and dedicated to sustainable digital preservation through community collaboration. Carleton will discuss OU's experience with and implementation of the MetaArchive digital preservation network. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
