The Institute for Human Science and Culture at The University of Akron is launching a new online lecture series focused on historical collecting practices that brought ancestral belongings into museums and private collections. The series begins on Wednesday,
Sept. 11, at 6 p.m., with historian and curator <b>Dr. Meranda Roberts</b>. Roberts will the discuss the colonial history of collecting and exhibiting Native American cultural items in academic spaces. Attendees will learn what it takes for Native communities
