Facebook recently announced Quest 2, the next generation Oculus VR headset, and a research project they call <a href="https://about.fb.com/news/2020/09/announcing-project-aria-a-research-project-on-the-future-of-wearable-ar/" target="_blank">Project Aria</a> to help them explore the future of wearable augmented reality devices. Zuckerberg's vision is ambitious, not just "an Apple Watch on your face" but an immersive, interactive, and shared holographic environment. It's a long way off, of course, but progress at this point is steady.
