[OPLINLIST] Remote access to Newsbank

I'm happy to announce that we have remote access to NewsBank 
for all Ohio public libraries through OPLIN's Remote Access site,
www.oplin.org/access.  I'm working with AccessScience and Oxford 
Reference Online to get their remote access working as well.

If you have your own patron authentication system, you can
set up remote access directly from your website to your
NewsBank account.  Our contact at Newsbank is Maureen McAveeney,
mmcaveeney@newsbank.com, 800-243-7694.

We are still struggling with the issue of appropriately
counting statistics for remote access, but it didn't seem
worth further delays.  I will continue trying to correct this
problem, but be advised that when your patrons access NewsBank
remotely through the OPLIN website, those usage stats will
not be reported to you.
