[OPLINLIST] EBSCO Auto Repair Group contract

After successful tests of the concept of voluntary library-paid
subscriptions to databases, OPLIN would like to try another group
contract to further refine the process.

We have received a number of quotes and have selected a candidate for
our next group contract.  Because of widespread interest among Ohio
libraries, we have negotiated rates for EBSCO Auto Repair Reference
Center.  The contract will run from January 1, 2004 to June 30, 2005.
Letters about this offer (with information about how to preview the
product) were sent to library directors last week.  Directors, if you
haven't received your mailing, please contact the OPLIN Support Center.

More information about the Auto Repair Reference Center is at
http://www.epnet.com/public/autorepair.asp.  The contract we have
negotiated does include home access to the resource.
