Shaking the Stacks: Pop, Rock and Hip-Hop

10/22/2003

1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Where?: MOLO Regional Library System Training Center

Scheduled Speaker: Joe Francisco and Michael Lee, Southwest Public
Library

These three genres of music have great appeal to the teens you are
serving in your libraries. But, how much do you know about the music and
the artists? Come join us as we discuss the history of the genres, the
artists behind the music, and how you can incorporate it into your all
of your collection - and programming. This will be a program for your
ears, as we play clips of tracks; for your eyes, as we show videos and
photos of the artists, and for your mind, as we give you the details to
making your library's CD collection the most appealing to your YA's.
