ANNOUNCING THE OHIO CONTINUING EDUCATION CALENDAR.

Warren, Ohio-September 2, 2003, 10:00 a.m. - NOLA Regional Library system
has unveiled the new Ohio Continuing Education Calendar.  This new project
was developed in cooperation with Ohio's seven Regional Library Systems
(CAMLS, GCLC, MOLO, NOLA, NORWELD, OVAL, and SOLO) Ohio Library Council, and
the State Library of Ohio. 

With a large number of organizations offering continuing education to the
Ohio library community, a centralized CE calendar system has been created to
assist library staff members in their search for appropriate continuing
education.

Continuing education opportunities are available on a state and local level
to offer support to both new and experienced library personnel.  The
database can be searched by region, date, or content.   This program
collects data from all participating locations and updates daily.
After spending many months on the NOLA website for testing and review, the
calendar will now be transferred to its permanent home at www.CEOhio.org and
www.CEOhio.com.
The NOLA Regional Library System is a multitype library agency that
coordinates and facilitates the development of services of its member
libraries for all of their constituents. NOLA is a membership-driven
organization that seeks to strengthen library services and to promote the
continued improvement of libraries in Ohio.
