The Marysville Public Library seeks energetic, upbeat, service-
oriented people to join us for an exciting future. After severe cuts
last year, we are restoring what services we can in June and
looking forward to fulfilling our community=92s needs in 2005 when
our levy revenues arrive. We look to fill the following positions on
the schedule outlined:
* Branch Manager: F/T salaried some eve=92s and weekends to
work primarily at Raymond location with some hours at Main.
Strong focus on community relations and collection
development. Req: BA with library experience and post-
secondary training in Library Science. Preferred: MLS/MLIS
with management experience. $28 =96 30K annually plus
benefits, DOE. (Deadline for application: 4/28, position begins
ASAP)
* Coordinator of Volunteers: Half-Time salaried, flexible hours.
Self-starter to recruit, schedule, train, supervise and evaluate
volunteers used in all aspects of operations. BA preferred with
training and supervisory experience. Library experience
preferred. $13 -15K annually, DOE. (Deadline for application:
5/14. Begins 6/1)
* Circulation Assistants/Clerks: Two (2) part-time hourly
positions for Main and one (1) for Raymond for afternoons,
evenings and every other weekend $7 - $8/hour DOE. Main
point of contact for public -- excellent customer service attitude
required. High school diploma or GED required, library and/or
retail experience desired. (Deadline for application: 5/7,
training begins 5/15)
* Pages: Two (2) part-time hourly positions at Main, evenings
and every other weekend, shelving and organizing library
materials under the direction of the circulation staff. Must be
16 years of age with reliable transportation. $5.50-$6.50/hour
DOE. (Deadline for application: 5/7, training begins 5/15)
