TAILOR MADE TRAINING BRINGING CONTINUING EDUCATION CLOSER TO HOME

Warren, Ohio-April 20, 2004-10:00 a.m.-Long gone are the days of "one size
fits all" standard training packages, and NOLA is here to help.   The NOLA
Regional Library System has provided continuing education solutions for
libraries and individuals for over 30 years. Tailor Made Training is an
exclusive service aimed at meeting the changing and demanding needs of
libraries and professionals today. NOLA provides a wide range of ways in
which people can learn and develop as individuals, in groups and in whole
library systems. We work alongside libraries to design solutions that work
and help them to achieve their training goals.  

Why Tailor Made Training?

Education is an investment in your library's future.  The skills we need to
master increases every day with budgets getting tighter and tighter.  It's
important for each of us to seek out as many opportunities as we can to
expand our knowledge as cost effectively as we can.  NOLA offers custom
designed learning for libraries that meets specific team and library issues
delivered by NOLA consultants or speakers obtained on your behalf.  NOLA can
provide the necessary training from basic Microsoft classes to specialized
technology programs designed to meet your individual needs.  We're sure
you'll find something to inspire, motivate, and energize your staff.  

We will bring the workshop to your library.

We work with you to design and implement a training program that directly
satisfies your development needs. Whether it's a current NOLA program via
videoconference with our equipment or a program designed especially for you,
NOLA is here to help.  We take pride in the job we do, and understand how
important quality continuing education is today.  NOLA has already developed
many tailor made technology programs for several libraries.

In house programs available via videoconference:

Libraries now have the opportunity to participate in current NOLA Continuing
Education programs via our portable video conferencing equipment.  You pick
out the program you'd like to attend and NOLA staff delivers the equipment
and sets it up.  Once the program is complete, we remove the equipment.
This allows library staff the opportunity to attend a NOLA workshop without
the travel or time out of the library.

Here's your opportunity to provide your staff the opportunity to gain the

your library and at a cost of a normal NOLA workshop.
