My Scrapbook Upgrades
Visitors to the Ohio Memory Online Scrapbook will find several upgraded =
features. "My Scrapbook," where you can build your own scrapbook of =
Ohio's history, has been revised to allow users to control multiple =
scrapbooks with one username and password. In addition, users can now =
select from more than 20 backgrounds, such as baskets, stars and =
bubbles, when building a scrapbook. Multiple items can also be removed =
more easily, using a check box. [Note: you will still be able to view =
and change scrapbooks created before the upgrade, but you will not be =
able to link them together under one username and password.]

New Search Capabilities
While your favorite ways to search and browse are still available, new =
search capabilities have been introduced. "Fuzzy" searching allows users =
to find items that are spelled close to the word typed in the search box =
by placing a question mark (?) before the word. For example, type =
?trilobyte to get results relating to Ohio's state fossil, the =
trilobite. Truncation is also available by using an asterisk (*). For =
example, type in build* to get results for build, builds, builder and =
building. View other search tips by going to the search page at =
www.ohiomemory.org and clicking on "Help."

These modifications to the web site are the result of feedback and =
suggestions from users. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have =
any questions or comments.=20
