[OPLINLIST] interpreter for hearing impaired

I recently had a hearing impaired patron request a interpreter be =
available for her at one of our programs. This is the first time I have =
had this request and was wondering what other libraries do. As I =
understand the Americans with Disabilities Act we should provide a =
interpreter but are not required to. What are your policy and precedures =
for this? Do you have an interpreter for every program or only if one is =
requested? Do you have a sign-up. What about funding? Any help or =
information you could give would be greatly appreciated.=20
