t since the inception of OPLIN, have Ohio libraries had such an excit=
ing opportunity to participate in an innovative library service of th=
is magnitude.<SPAN style=3D"mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>With the=
potential to serve all of Ohio=92s 11 million residents, the KnowItN=
ow service calls for a small contribution of reference service from m=
any public libraries around the state so that all libraries, and inde=
ed all citizens, can benefit from high quality, convenient access to =
library service, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.<SPAN style=3D"mso-spa=
cerun: yes"> </SPAN></FONT></FONT></P>
<P class=3DMsoNormal><FONT face=3DArial><FONT size=3D2>Specifically, =
your library=92s help is needed to answer reference questions online =
for a 3-hour shift once per week.<SPAN style=3D"mso-spacerun: yes">&n=
bsp; </SPAN>Shifts are available Monday =96 Friday from 5:30 =96 8:30=
.<SPAN style=3D"mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>These evening shifts=
will be staffed with a team of at least six librarians from though o=
ut the state.<SPAN style=3D"mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>There is=
no special software or hardware needed, just an Internet connected P=
C and enthusiastic staff members.<SPAN style=3D"mso-spacerun: yes">&n=
bsp; </SPAN>All training will be provided free of charge in a locatio=
n convenient to your library.<SPAN style=3D"mso-spacerun: yes"> =
