[OPLINLIST] E-Rate Training is Next Week

The second day of E-Rate training (Form 471) and changes to the program will
be presented by Dan Farslow next week in SOLO.  Visit the SLO website for
additional locations statewide.  You did not need to attend Day 1 in order
to attend Day 2.

Day 2 is scheduled from 9:30 - 12:00 on Monday, November 15 at the SOLO
Learning Center, 40774 SR 821, Caldwell..

The State Library encourages ALL public libraries to apply for E-Rate
funding.  According to Roger Verny, everyone should be eligible!  Roger
explains that 1) Libraries do NOT need to filter when applying only for
telephone funding; and 2) Technology Plans are not required.  Details will
be provided during the training.
