The Pickaway County District Public Library, serving a population of =
53,000 and located 25 miles south of Columbus, Ohio, is looking for a =
qualified individual to effectively manage the information technology =
department. Responsibilities include: budgeting, purchasing and =
maintaining hardware, peripherals, software, network, Intranet, Web site =
and automation system; providing excellent customer service; writing and =
updating technology plan; technology training for public and staff; =
supervising one part-time technician; and assisting with projects of =
7-member library automation consortium.=20

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field =
or demonstrated equivalent experience required. Experience with Windows, =
networking, M/S Office and current and emerging information technologies =
required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, training =
and supervisory experience required. ALA accredited MLS helpful. =
Experience with Linux, SQL, Dynix or Horizon ILS helpful. Must be able =
to travel and work evening and weekend hours when needed.

The starting salary range for this full-time position, which reports to =
the Library Director, is $32,000-$38,000 depending on education and =
experience. Very good benefit package includes paid retirement. Send =
