The Marysville Public Library invites you to join our team of

The Marketing Manager is the lens through which the work of the
Library is translated to the public -- and through which the public's
response is translated and turned into Library services. We need
someone who's canny, optimistic, perceptive, open and ambitious.
A good writer and talker (and an even better do-er) is key. A
Library background is great, but a marketing/ communications/
journalism background is required.
Here are the details:
Marketing/Public Relations: Full time salaried position for Marysville
Public Library to start Jan 1, 2005. Manage all aspects of marketing
including media and community relations. Excellent verbal and written
communication skills required. Desktop publishing skills required.
Web design and content development experience desired. BA/BS in
Marketing, Communications or Journalism or combination of applicable
post-secondary education and experience in similar environment.
Salary range: $30 =96 $32,000, DOE. Resumes and writing samples
