[OPLINLIST] Very Important Medicare Education Opportunity!

The Social Security Administration is beginning a summer long public
information campaign to educate people about the new Medicare =
Prescription
Drug benefit that will become effective January, 2006.  Additionally, =
Social
Security is accepting applications for subsidy assistance for persons =
who
have limited income and resources.  We are very interested in conducting
seminars in the community where we can  provide information about the =
new
benefit and also obtain subsidy applications.  We believe that =
libraries,
focal points in many communities, are excellent locations for these =
types of
meetings.  We will begin this initiative in earnest in May and continue
through the summer months.=20

	If your library(s) has meeting space available to host a seminar,
please e-mail either John.Lamotte@ssa.gov for most areas of central or
southern Ohio or joyce.zak@ssa.gov for areas near Toledo, Cleveland, =
Akron
and Youngstown.  If you are not sure, e-mail john.  We will have a
representative contact you to confirm.  Please include any suggested =
dates
