10th Annual Picture Book Read-In

Friday, August 12th, 2005
Time:
8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (Friday); 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon (Saturday)
Location:
St. Pius X School, Edgewood, Kentucky
Description:
Join the other children's librarians and teachers in the area at this
popular annual event. The event has been expanded this year to an
additional morning in order to provide more time for review.
Several libraries from GCLC will offer their new picture books for
review by all. Come see what's new. Spend the day reading your favorite
authors. Tables will be set up for those who want to review special
topics. (If you have suggestions for special topics, please forward them
to the GCLC office.)
You may choose to attend all day Friday and Saturday morning, or just
one of the two days.
Meal:
Continental breakfast and lunch provided on Friday; continental
breakfast provided on Saturday.
Audience:
Librarians, Teachers, and Parents
Full Registration (Friday and Saturday):
$25 (Includes continental breakfast both days and lunch on Friday)
Friday Only:
$20 (Includes continental breakfast and lunch on Friday)
Saturday Only:
$10 (Includes continental breakfast on Saturday)
Registration is limited to 100 participants
The deadline to register is Monday, August 8th, 2005
