Library Administrator Regional-KDLA

Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives is seeking a Regional Library
Administrator for the Bluegrass Region.  The office is located in
Nicholasville, Jessamine County, Kentucky.  Further information is posted on

Library Administrator Regional-KDLA

The Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives has an opening for a
Library Administrator Regional-KDLA for the Bluegrass Region.  This
permanent, full-time merit position is based in Jessamine County, yet travel
is required to locations within an eleven (11) county area. 

Duties include providing consultative services to public library staff and
trustees in that region; attending local library board meetings; supervising
one staff person and administering programs to client groups in the area.
Some weekday evening and weekend hours are involved.   

Minimum requirements: Graduate of a college or university with a master's
degree in Library Science plus two (2) years professional library
experience.  

Annual salary range: $36,580.00-$ 48,463.00 (as of July 1, 2005). Employer
offers contribution to health and life insurance, sick and vacation leave,
holiday pay, retirement. Optional deferred compensation plan and other
insurance benefits available.  

Selection Method: Position is 100% Qualifying - no test required.
