Hello, fellow librarians-
I have a patron who is looking for a cumulative story which begins with =
the line "The black cat got hit on the road..." Apparently, this story =
is used as part of a Halloween activity where there are bowls of =
different foods which are supposed to feel like parts of the cat. They =
are hidden under a sheet, and participants are supposed to put their =
hands in the bowls and feel the cat's eyes (black olives), etc.
I really hope this makes sense. I guess she found it in a book some 20 =
years ago. I wasn't able to find the book or the story on the Internet, =
so I am asking for your help.
