November 7             The Secret Origins of a Fantastic, Amazing, and
Incredible Comic and Animation Collection for Teens!

Calling all librarians who serve teens.  Comic creators Jane Irwin and Paul
Size team up with Kevin King from the Kalamazoo Public Library to present a
history of graphic materials, tips on how to select, store and circulate
items,  the process of creating comics, and ways to plan exciting events
that highlight your collection.

November 9             Model Programs:  Employee Orientation Training 

Join a conversation with your colleagues on employee orientation programs,
and find out in detail how three libraries developed and implemented

meet patrons' needs. Find out how they are being used and how to create your
