The Kent State University School of Library and Information Science 
(SLIS) has announced its award winners for 2006---those who have made a 
significant contribution to both the School and to the profession. 

On Tuesday, April 11, 2006, SLIS will honor these individuals at its 
annual "Alumni and Friends Honors and Awards" dinner at OCLC (Online 
Computer Library Center) in Dublin, Ohio.  To attend this celebration, 
just RSVP by April 6 to rfilipan at slis.kent.edu

5:45 p.m.    Social hour and Reception, OCLC's Kilgour Atrium
6:30 p.m.    Buffet Dinner and Dessert Bar, OCLC's Kilgour Atrium
7:30 p.m.    Awards Presentation, OCLC's Kilgour Auditorium

"Alumna of the Year" Award

"Friend of the Year" Award
