Plan to attend the Spring CO-ASIS&T Presentation
on Thursday, April 20th, 2006:

"PODCASTING FOR ALL WHO WONDER"

Presented by Dr. Tim Rhodus, Professor,
Horticulture and Crop Science at Ohio State University.

Join us at OCLC's Kilgour Auditorium on
Thursday evening, April 20th for this program.
Come and learn practical knowledge about using this
technology from an education and technology user
who is eager to share his "how to" knowledge and
"why you would want to in the first place" perspective.
Fundamental differences will be demonstrated between
downloading audio and video from the web and "podcasting".
Dr. Rhodus will share his own experiences with integrating
podcasting into his department's electronic communications
and his own course on Open Source applications. He will
identify resources for locating podcasts, software for
managing podcasts, and techniques for integrating
podcasts into other web applications.

Tim Rhodus began developing and hosting academic
websites in April 1994. His first project, "Horticulture
in Virtual Perspective" continues to grow and evolve,
even after 12 years. Tim earned his Ph.D. in
Agircultural Economics in 1985 and has been on the
faculty at Ohio State for nearly 21 years.
