David Bendekovic is recognized nationally as a skilled training and 
development specialist with first hand knowledge of what it takes to be 
successful. During the past three years, over 3,000 people representing 
over 300 organizations have attended his leadership, marketing, and 
customer service workshops.

David serves as a program director for the Leadership Institute at 
Syracuse University and teaches at the University's Whitman School of 
Management. He also serves as an advisor/consultant for Student Agencies 
at Cornell University and Vice President for Polaris Library Systems.

With over 25 years of successful experience building market presence and 
generating record profitability in highly competitive markets, David now 
spends his time traveling throughout the United States meeting, 
listening to, and working with leaders from America's best-run libraries 
and businesses.


      Description

Insights and strategies for success from the "best of the best" in 
library and business leadership will be shared in this 
information-packed workshop.

Developed at the Leadership Institute at Syracuse University, this 
workshop synthesizes current ideas and information about what common 
elements characterize successful U.S. public libraries, how they are 
achieving their success, and how they expect to remain relevant in 
today's rapidly-shifting landscape.

- Identify your leadership orientation.

- Learn to deal with a changing competitive structure by effectively 
managing the brand your library holds in the community.

- Conduct a self-assessment of your library's practices in order to 
identify strengths & opportunities for improvement.

- Develop the framework for your library's future growth and development.
