The Coldwater Public Library is accepting applications for the position
of Library Director.  The Library Director is responsible for all
library operations.

 

Management or Library supervisory experience is recommended.  

 

Successful applicant should possess the ability to direct the operation
of the library, learn and effectively use computers & technology as
needed, strong leadership & motivational skills, strong interpersonal
skills to work with the public and good problem-solving &
decision-making techniques.  

 

The right applicant should possess a commitment to customer service and
community outreach.

 

Responsibilities:

*	Directing all operations of the Library
*	Assisting the Clerk-Treasurer in development of the budget and
appropriations
*	Developing and proposing library policy & procedures
*	Representing the library in public and official capacity
*	Written & verbal communications, both internal & external
*	Staff leadership, development, scheduling, supervision,
recruitment, training, orientation, motivation, and performance
evaluation
*	Maintain high quality of service and effective patron relations
